The subwoofer: Deep, powerful and extremely clever

Measuring just 21 cm across when placed upright, the Cubycon’s accompanying subwoofer is easy to place in any living room. These compact dimensions are made possible by the use of three separate high-performance long-throw woofers (each with a diameter of 130 mm) instead of a single large woofer.

The well-braced MDF subwoofer cabinet employs bass reflex technology to achieve an incredible 33 Hz (-3 dB) low end. A true Teufel, the bass is consistently dry, realistic and resonant.

Place the subwoofer upright or on its side – the sound won’t be affected. This flexibility makes it possible to place the subwoofer on a low board, behind the couch or wherever it’s least in the way.

Equipped with a 150 watt class D amplifier, an automatic on and off switch as well as a standby mode that uses less than 0.5 watts, the Cubycon subwoofer has both plenty of brawn and brains. On the back, there are even various setting options for adjusting the device to you’re a/V receiver. Special pads make sure that the subwoofer’s fulminating bass doesn’t transfer to your floor – and your neighbor’s ceiling.
